about the artist — Jim Biglan

Jim Biglan has been a practicing artist over the last 30 years. His work has continuously explored the themes of love, death, alienation and hedonism. Biglan has shown his artwork in New Orleans, Philadelphia, and New York, as well as other local galleries. He received his BFA in printmaking from the University of Delaware and his MFA in painting from Cornell University. Biglan has been a high school art teacher for the last 28 years and currently teaches at his alma mater. Jim enjoys licking ice cream cones, aimless walks and Rock and Roll music.
